Public Relations
The media, community, special-interest groups and other key audiences can play a major role in how an issue or policy is perceived and ultimately accepted.
Our ongoing relationship with the state's top public relations firms complements our efforts in providing comprehensive public and media relations plans to support a client's particular position or issue. This may include everything from gaining community and government support for a hospital's proposed Certificate of Need (CON) to developing a communication plan for a corporation interested in gaining state and local community support for its objectives.
For instance, when public support was divided on the development of oil and gas reserves in one of the state's most pristine forests, PAA formed a team of developers and environmentalists to communicate the advantages of controlled development to journalists throughout the state.
The plan resulted in favorable editorial support of development in every major media market as well as the passage of legislation for the development to move forward.
